When I look at the growth in my life, I cannot help but think of you. In my personal growth, it is because of the grace that you shared with me that has allowed me to learn what I have learned. Even when I made the dumbest mistakes thinking I was right and everyone was wrong, you still showed grace because you saw something that I did not even see yet.

Now, I find myself engaged in opportunities to speak into other’s lives. Often, the words I speak to others are the words you spoke to me. When I look at the way I do things, I see a foundation in what I saw you do. I try to live a life full of grace. I try to live with the maturity of seeing God’s call on people, not where they are at in that moment. I try to love my spouse the way you love yours. But most importantly, I try to love God the way you love God.

I am forever grateful to the investments that you have put into my life. Because of you, not only am I continuing to strive to be the man God called me to be, but traces of you will carry on for generations.

Yes, a thank you is good, but I figure the best way to repay you is to deposit those investments into other’s as I journey through life.

From the beginning, there is no doubt in my mind that this cd was a God idea. I know it is an important part in the direction God has for my life and those associated with it. With that said, this cd will get finished. That is why I have recently picked it up as a priority. So here is an update. We will have the tracking done by the end of this month and then off to mixing and mastering. There is no release date yet.

As soon as I get the masters, I might leak a little bit of what to expect!

This is a video tour of the new aubreysanchez DOT com. I recently switched back to WordPress from tumblr and I have been working on a new theme for our community. Now, it’s your turn to chime in. This is a snapshot of my vision I wrote out for 2007. I knew I needed to develop some essential disciplines that I would have to carry with me if I wanted to be successful now and 90 years from now. In 2007, I knew I needed to set the foundations of life. Once I did this in 2007, 2008 was going to be the year to focus on music like I wanted.

Well, here I sit the first day of 2009 and realizing that I am still trying to accomplish my 2007 vision. I have accomplished other things, but this 2007 vision is the foundation. I have always been the one with amazing potential (no conceit intended). I have always been the one that dreamed so much bigger than where I’m at. I also knew that I could get there. You know, when you get older and respected, and people realize your abilities.

I am not old by any means, but I’m pushing 30 in the next couple of years. I’m not a kid anymore. I’m not the man I will be when I’m 50, but I realized something about myself. I am inspired easily, and I inspire others very easily. I’m good at that,

but I’m not good at taking the inspiration and integrating it into my life.

My vision was inspired in 2007. I believe it was a prophetic inspiration by God. He knows what I need to do what I’m supposed to do. Where I have not done well, is integrating that inspiration into my life. That is why I sit waiting for my abilities and anointing to be realized.

I’m living in the inspiration of it, rather than the integration of it.

Many people have had huge revelations or epiphanies in life. Think about when you had one. Now, ask yourself: did you integrate that epiphany into your life, or did you just move on for a year or two until you had it again?

I’ll make a few tweaks to the snapshot above, but it is my 2009 vision again. I want to integrate these God-given inspirations into my lifestyle, not for just a month.

First we should define a community: a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests.

We all share life. We are all on a journey. The good and ups, the fun and hilarious, and the pointless but still fun. However, our journey also consists of the bad and downs. For a long time, I was scared to show the bad, but as you can tell by this post, and especially this post; I am now very transparent in sharing both aspects of my journey. I have learned so much in life from sharing the ups and downs of life with others. Community has played a huge part in my journey and I know aubreysanchez DOT com can have that same effect for many others.

I want this blog to be as much about you as it is me.  Sure, I will be doing most of the posting, but maybe, just maybe, my ups and downs in life can start a conversation that all of us can learn from. So comment, say what you want to say. When you share about your journey, you are not just having a conversation with me, but with everyone in our community.
