Make your life green

Make your life green

All the talk is going green, let’s save the environment. I’m all for being a good steward of our earth, because life would be so much different if we lost the beauty of our environment.

God has really been showing me a lot about how important the environment you live in is. If a plant is going to do what it is supposed to do to its full extent, it must have sunlight. If you put it in a dark place, it still kind of works, but not fully.

But what about your life environment?

Now I am not talking about the trees, skies, or waters. I am talking about your marriage, church, job, relationships, and so on. Now let’s say you and I are the plants. Each one of us has a specific function or calling to carry out.

Does your life environment supply you with the means necessary to carry out what you are supposed to do to your full extent?

Here is what I can tell you. Even when you love to do what you are called to do, being in the wrong environment can suck the life out of you. It is like putting a plant in a dark cabinet. You can still function, but not to your fullest extent. If you stay in that dark cabinet you will “wither” sooner than you would in your proper environment.

Is your life environment green?
