Make your life green (Part 2)
If you have not read Part 1 of this series, read it real quick……….
So how do you know if your “life” environment is green?
I do not have all the answers, but I will share some experiences in my life. The first thing you have evaluate is if
God told you to be there.
This trumps all other signs. If you know God told you to be somewhere, do not even start asking questions about the rest of these.
I have been in environments that I did not enjoy and disliked very strongly, but knew without a shadow of a doubt that God told me to be there. Those environments stretch you and strengthen you. If you are in this situation, do not change environments until God tells you to. If He tells you to be somewhere, His grace is on you to be there, however, when your time is done there, you better not hang around. When God’s grace for that environment is gone, you are gonna get the life sucked out of you and burn out.
We used the plant analogy in Part 1 and I am going to continue to use it. When a plant is doing what it is supposed to do, it is giving life back. Through photosynthesis, it is giving us air to breathe. It is giving life back. If it is dying, it cannot keep giving life.
This is the second thing you must evaluate.
Is your environment allowing you to give life back?
God created you to accomplish something specific in your life. The purpose of that specific thing is to give life back to others. Through you giving life back, two things happen: others receive new life and you gain new life by giving it to others. If you do not see new life being given from your environment, you might start asking some questions.
This is my thought on this. If you have anything to add, comment and share.
