I mention quite a bit about how I really want this blog to be a community. After reading Carlos’ post from the other day, I have really been thinking about what a community consists of and what aubreysanchez DOT com should be.

First we should define a community: a social, religious, occupational, or other group sharing common characteristics or interests.

We all share life. We are all on a journey. The good and ups, the fun and hilarious, and the pointless but still fun. However, our journey also consists of the bad and downs. For a long time, I was scared to show the bad, but as you can tell by this post, and especially this post; I am now very transparent in sharing both aspects of my journey. I have learned so much in life from sharing the ups and downs of life with others. Community has played a huge part in my journey and I know aubreysanchez DOT com can have that same effect for many others.

I want this blog to be as much about you as it is me.  Sure, I will be doing most of the posting, but maybe, just maybe, my ups and downs in life can start a conversation that all of us can learn from. So comment, say what you want to say. When you share about your journey, you are not just having a conversation with me, but with everyone in our community.

So, that’s what aubreysanchez DOT com is all about, and I really want to thank you guys for being a part of it.
