I wanted to update on what is going on right now.  I have been in Oklahoma this past week working on a recording project that I started before I moved to Dallas.  I will be working on it all next week too.  I am not ignoring you if I do not answer your call.  I have spent most of my day locked up in a vocal booth.

Recording is always fun, but it is such a challenging process.  It really causes you to refine your abilities and skills.  In a live situation, a lot of stuff can fly by unnoticed, but a raw, recorded track doesn’t lie.  Honestly, they are just brutal sometimes. Oh well, like King David said, “A rebuke is like anointing oil on my head.”

It looks like I am going to have to drive back Monday night after recording to vote.  I will vote and drive back to Oklahoma on Tuesday morning.

It doesn’t look like I am going to get to make it to the Closer to the Start Live DVD Recording on Wednesday.  I cannot tell you how bummed I am about that.  I was so excited! I just have to use this next week wisely to accomplish the goal. At least I can record it.  It will be live on Daystar.
