I have been pretty quiet about Meg and I’s transition from our previous church. I think I mentioned it briefly once. I have been quiet because I wanted to talk to some people personally before they read it on this blog. Well, we have talked to those people and everything is open.

Meg and I joined Fellowship Church in Grapevine. We absolutely love it! Besides a few personal relationships, we have not felt like we have been “home” since our move from Oklahoma in February of ’07. It always felt like we were just visiting, for a real long time. Then came Fellowship. For the first time we feel like this is home. We finally found a place that we feel like we can be who we are and do what we were made to do to join others and touch lives for the Kingdom.

Meg is volunteering in the nursery and bookstore/cafe. I’m not sure how I feel about the nursery. Being around babies all the time could get her thinking some thoughts. lol. I am jumping into helping with the worship and media. Finding a church home has really stirred up the gift of music in me again. I have not led worship since February, after doing it for 8 years straight. We’ll see where that leads, I just want to jump into however I can help.

The moral of the story? We are happy to be home……finally.
