Maxwell may call it the law of the lid. I call it a ceiling. Throughout life, we will always hit ceilings. We will always hit times when it seems we are trying to go up and just banging our heads on the ceiling, not going anywhere.

The good news is all ceilings can be overcome. I know that, but over the past 5 years, I have hit the same ceiling twice. It’s like the saying, “do it once, it’s a mistake. Do it again, and you’re stupid.” About 4 years ago, I was frustrated because I did not have the musical understanding to express what was inside of me through my instrument. I needed to learn theory. So, I went back to school. That lasted 2 semesters and then the pressures and passion for ministry sucked me back into full-time ministry.

Now, 4 years later, I am hitting that same ceiling again. I have to overcome this ceiling. I can only ignore it for so long.

So, after alot of prayer and counsel, I am going back to school this semester. That’s right. I am officially a North Lake Blazer now.

I am cutting down to part time at the church and making school my priority. Honestly, I hate school, but I am excited because next time I hit a ceiling it will not be the same ceiling for the third time.
