My wife and I are in a very special moment in our lives. We really feel like God is doing something amazing all around us. Ever since we moved to Dallas, it has been one miracle after another. In 1 Peter, Peter advises the churches to seize these special moment b/c they don’t last forever. He tells them to prepare their minds for action, be self-controlled and be holy b/c God is holy.

In response to this kairos (greek word) moment, we want to prepare our minds and be holy and show self-control through fasting. So we decided to do a daniel fast for 3 weeks. We are already on day 7, but I want to kind of update as we go through the fast.

And no, I’m not doing this so everyone will think I’m holy. It is more to journal the fast and if someone can get something, great.
