Proverbs 15:22 – Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

I had an extremely encouraging convo with Scott Hodge earlier tonight. He said something that really resonated in me. Well, he said alot of somethings that resonated in me, but I’m just talking about one right now. He said, “make sure you keep people from the outside around you.”

I think so many times, we need reminded as leaders to communicate with people on the outside that can give us a different viewpoint. It is easy to get caught up in where we are at. A trusted, outside perspective can advise, confirm, encourage or correct your behavior on the inside.
