Norman, Oklahoma has a lot of great leaders in it.  I would venture to say many of them are involved in the university (OU) somehow, but it never occurred to me how many influential leaders are here.  Today that thought tagged me right in the brain.  I was doing my time on the treadmill, when this man hops on the treadmill next to me.  Then it hits me, this guy is a very influential business man here in town( he’s real big on the board of regents or something at OU).  I didn’t say hi, it’s hard to put down your Ipod when you are listening to Andy Stanley’s practically speaking podcast.  Then not 30 seconds later the president of OU comes and hops on the bike in front of me.  Yeah, pretty cool to even be around great leaders that are “secular” (not local church) leaders.

This happening inspired me to begin to put together some questions to ask these guys and post their responses on my blog. If you have any questions you think would be cool to ask them, let me know.  I just hope that I can catch these guys anywhere in the gym besides the showers.
