Remember the Alamo……

The Alamo has absolutely nothing to do with my blog today………………
This morning in my time with God, He really put on my heart to remember those who have sacrificed and paved the way for us to be where we are at today. For instance, my dad has made a huge impact on our community and fought through things that I never even saw when I came along side him in ministry. Sometimes, we take for granted where we are without remembering how we got there. We need to be especially sensitive to remember that someone somewhere sacrificed and gave of themselves so we could experience what and where we are at today. So, today, be especially sensitive to those people in your life. It might be a pastor, president, parent. Whoever it is, say a prayer for them or call them and tell them thank you.
On the other hand, I do not in any way say stop pushing forward. God’s ways are so much higher than our ways. His vision is so much bigger than us or what we can see. I think it’s important that we continue to be innovative in affecting our communities so that one day someone else will be writing a blog (or whatever the innovative communication is then) about how we prepared the way for them to do what God wants them to do.
I guess the Alamo does have something to do with this blog. In a way, as a mexican, that is part of where I came from. So, say a prayer of thankfulness for the Alamo.
