A few thoughts on Proverbs 8:

• Wisdom calls out to us and wants to help us gain prudence and understanding.  As a whole, our culture welcomes things in that claim to help us. Why not God or wisdom?

• Wisdom is better than silver, gold, rubies, and it will make us wealthy.  We’ve heard it, but do we really believe it?

• Wisdom is the key to walking in righteousness and justice

• Wisdom was around before God created the earth.  It was the craftsman by His side when He did create the earth.  Talk about tried and true.

• If you love wisdom, you find life.  Hate wisdom and love death.
