• Better to be a nobody and yet have a servant than pretend to be somebody and have no food. Apparently we have not defined culture based on this verse.  Americans are in more personal debt than any other country.  We actually spend 2% more than we make. Money is mentioned in the Bible just over 2500 times.  In hermeneutics, that means it is important.  Maybe we should take this proverb to heart.
