So, it is official. I am moving to Dallas. Pastor and I were offered positions at the NorthChurch in Carrollton, Texas. After alot of prayer and counsel, we feel that is the direction God wants us to move. This Sunday will be our last Sunday morning experience at Church on the Rock – Norman. It’s been a sad couple of weeks, knowing that I am going to leave some people that are very close to my heart. That is the bitter part.

The sweet part is that I get to join a vision that is passionate about reaching people. The church I’m going to is in the early stages of a huge transition by changing their methods to reach a new, younger market. It’s going to be an awesome marriage of what we are good at here in Norman and what they are good at. I believe that the NortchChurch will be a forerunner in effectively reaching the Dallas area. So, I’m excited and sad.

Our church here was easy to transition b/c we had a hundred people. The NorthChurch is 3,000, so it is a little bit more difficult to transition. If anyone has any advice from experience, feel free to comment.
